Restaurant Review: Seasons 52

Good morning everyone!

Hope you all had a great weekend, and if you live in the north east coast, maybe snow day!  Weekend was pretty eventful, but I must say it started out pretty amazing.  Good food, good drinks, but most importantly amazing company, it’s all you really need for a great night.

Seasons 52

Nowadays, most of us look at the menu before we go somewhere new to eat.  I used to for vegetarian/vegan options to healthier/lighter entree selections.  Whether it’s because you want to know there is some good food or a special diet.  Menu’s say it all (until you actually taste it).

Any place that has a seasonal menu, in my eyes, already has my heart.  The fact the restaurant is aware on how produce and taste change with in seasons is a great thing!  The cooks are already one step closer to appeasing their customers who want to enjoy a great satisfying meal.  Winter salads filled with beets and nuts and soups and chills made with winter squash is comforting during these colder months.

And the organics?  Even if the whole menu isn’t there yet, a little goes a long way.  I didn’t have any of there organic entrees, but I did have their organic drinks….

Drinks and Food

We decided to start out with a drink so I chose a little something like the Grapefruit Martini.  To be honest, it tasted like grapefruit juice.  Not sure if that was good or bad, but still was delicious.

The food was very tasty.  You tasted every ingredient.  The veggies were prominent, and the more bold ingredients such as the cheese was not overpowering.  I think the meals could have been fresher, as in just warmer.  Maybe a little gooeyness to the cheese?  Juicier mushrooms?  Obviously I am no restaurant critic.  Regardless I enjoyed everything, and my favorite being the Beet and Goat Cheese Salad.

And to wash down our meal?

Very nice!  Felt classy without being too stuffy.  We sat at the bar and I love the way it presented itself there.  Didn’t feel crowded even though the bar was full.  With live music and attentive service, we felt pretty comfortable and enjoyed ourselves the whole time.  Even after we had our fill we were able to stick around while the music played on!

Till next time, loves,
